James Kennedy Obituary

EATON — James Douglas Kennedy, 61, of Eaton, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025, at his residence.

He was born April 11, 1964, in Dayton. James graduated from Arcanum High School, class of 1984, where he enjoyed playing football. He was an avid fisherman and loved to go to auctions. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Eaton and owned his own plumbing business, Kennedy Plumbing, for over 25 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, James H. Kennedy. He is survived by his mother, Barbara A. (Jurczak) Kennedy of Mount Sterling; sisters and brothers-in-law Sue and Thom Robinson of Cape Coral, Florida, Diane and Dave Crosby of Mount Sterling, and Carol and Steve Lippert of Beaver, Pennsylvania and brother and sister-in-law John and Louisa Kennedy of Columbia, South Carolina.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Eaton is assisting the family with arrangements.
