James entered eternal rest on December 14, 2024, at St. Vincent's Medical Center. James was born on December 5th, 1936, in Bainbridge, GA to the late Sadie Chisholm and Frank Killings.
James moved to CT at an early age with his mother and late stepfather Horace Williams. He attended Warren Harding High School from where he graduated. After which he went into the Marine Corps, Camp Laguna South Carolina. James worked numerous jobs of which included many years at American Fabrics and Magna Tech until his retirement in 1998.
On September 22, 1956, James married the love of his life Eva Mae Lloyd, his wife was his world there wasn't anything too good for his wife, their union lasted 44 years until her passing in 1998, and from this union came 5 children.
James leaves to cherish his memory: 5 Children, Norma (Jeane) Killings, Bridgeport CT, Dawn Killings-Chander (Martin Sr), Hampton VA, James Killings Jr (Donna)m Bridgeport, CT, Tyrone Killings (Jackie) Bridgeport, CT, Ramon Killings, Bridgeport, CT
James was blessed to have 11 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 3 great great, grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends and family. One very special friend Gevon Bradley and Godson Gevon Bradley Jr.
