James Kimble Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home & Crematory on Mar. 12, 2026.
James S. Kimble, Jr., 77, of East Canton, Ohio, passed away on March 10, 2026. Born on October 27, 1948, he was the son of the late James S. Kimble, Sr. and Mildred (Fish) Shanower.

Life and Legacy

James was a hardworking man who dedicated many years to his career, eventually retiring from J&L Steel Corp. When he wasn't working, he found his greatest peace in the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman who truly loved being out on the water, and an avid golfer. These were passions that defined much of his free time and brought him great joy.

Family

James was preceded in death by his first wife, Jane K. (Pyles) Kimble, and his sisters, June Rohrer and Theresa Kimble.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Bonnie J. (Bender) Kimble. His memory will be cherished by his son, Jay E. Kimble, and daughter-in-law, Tina L. Kimble; and his step-son, Jonathan Wilhelm.

James was a proud grandfather to Joshua J. Kimble, Caleb J. Kimble, Isaac Wilhelm, and David Hillen (and wife, Kate). He was also a great-grandfather to Alexander Hillen.

He is also survived by his sisters, Becky Pyles (and husband, Garry) and Anna Eaton; his brother, Jay Shanower (and wife, Sharon); brother-in-law Don Rohrer; and his many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Calling hours will be held Friday, March 13, 2026 5:00-7:00pm at Paquelet Falk Funeral Home 303 S. Chapel St., Louisville, Ohio. Condolences may be shared online at www.paqueletfalk.com. (330) 875-2811
