James I. Kinker, age 69, of Pemberville, OH passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2008 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, OH. He was born on March 13, 1939 in Luckey, OH to Irvin and Lula (Knettle) Kinker. James married Norma Martin in Pemberville, OH on September 2, 1961 and she survives. He was employed as a machine repairman at Carmuse North America Group (formerly Ohio Lime), Woodville, OH retiring in 1991 after 38 years of service. He then worked at Ed Schmidt Auto as a porter until 2007. James was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pemberville, OH. In his spare time he collected Fenton Glass, enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, country music and old cars.

Survivors include wife: Norma Kinker of Pemberville, OH; sons: Ron Kinker of Pemberville, OH, Richard Kinker of Luckey, Ohio, David Kinker of Pemberville, OH; sisters: June Schmeltz of Pemberville, OH, Delores (Joe) Sohajda of Pemberville, OH, Nola Dean (Jim) Haas of Luckey, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 from 2-5 and 7-9 PM at the Marsh Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 11:30 AM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pemberville, OH where there will be additional visitation from 10:30 AM until time of services. Officiating will be Rev. David Wietelmann. Interment will be in Pemberville Cemetery, Pemberville, OH. There will be a bereavement luncheon held at the church immediately following the committal services at the cemetery. Those giving a memorial may wish to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Bethlehem Lutheran Church or American Cancer Society.
