I appreciated Jim for his Care & Kindness Conference that I attended in CA back in 2009 or 2010. Then he came to IL to lead a C & K conference at Trinity Christian College in partnership with a ministry I was part of called Christian Service Ministries. He had such a kind heart for all kinds of people and a wonderful smile. I'll never forget his motto "90% of caring is just showing up." My sympathies to Linda and the kids and grandkids.

To the family of Jim Kok
Being the Chaplain at Pine Rest is where I met him. Back in the 1980s. My home church pastor connected me to him and I was blessed by his character and expertise for 3 years. Thank you for sharing him with me and so many. You have my deepest sympathy.
