So many memories, so much fun at VU. This story has been verified by Rose. 4-5 of us had blind dates at Cabrini College. I insisted we put our names in my silly cowboy hat. Guess who pulled out Rose. One of a million stories most of which cannot be retold. A guy that was easy to love.

Jim was a teammate of mine at Villanova and probably the happiest person I knew at VU. He had an infectious smile 24/7, a characteristic laugh, and super keen wit. In high school he lived a block away in Jersey City but we never met until college nor did our HS teams play against each other. He was a good man, and a real 'good ole boy'. One of the best liked guys on the team.
Rest in peace Jim.

It was a sad moment when we heard of James Kropke passing. He had a great personality and was a fantastic sportsman. He was able to handle any situation that came his way. Friends have lost a special friend and good family man.
May he rest in peace.

Jim was a friend. Interested in what you were doing. Genuine smile. Good laugh. May his spirit live on in the good deeds of his wife, children and grandchildren.
