James Allen Krueger, known as "Peanut or Nut", was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 64. His life was marked by kindness, dedication, and a deep love for family.
Born on October 12, 1960, in Fort Collins, Colorado. James married his wife, Mary Lynn Hamilton-Krueger, on June 27, 1980, and they shared 45 wonderful years of marriage. They raised four sons-Jeremiah, Joshua, Levi, and LaKota-instilling in them the values of love, perseverance, and family. James and Lynn opened their doors to many young people in need of love, guidance, and a place to call home.
James was an Alaskan resident for over 50 years. He was the proud owner of Red Hawk Mobile Home Movers, where he dedicated many years of hard work and service.
James loved to hunt and fish, passions that brought him peace and joy throughout his life. He is survived by his wife, his sons & their spouses, and his cherished grandchildren Lexi, Mackenzie, Sky, Evan, Krystal, Aleah, Paxton, Sophia, Kaitlyn, and many others who called him grandpa. He is also survived by his sister, Karen, his brother, Ron, and his extended family members. James was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley, his brother, Lloyd & his wife, Mary Ann, as well as his treasured father-in-law, Glen Hamilton Sr., who first introduced James to the trucking industry, and his adored dog, Molly.
A memorial service will be held at the Grouse Ridge Shotgun Club in Wasilla, Alaska, at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 12, 2025 (by invitation).
"Nut" will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family and his incredible, grueling work ethic.
