James A. Kwiatkowski, age 78, of Erie, PA., passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Erie, PA on May 27, 1947, a son of the late Raymond and Evelyn Marz Kwiatkowski.

James was a devoted husband, father and friend. He was a very hard worker. He served in the Army for four years and was stationed in Germany. After this, he worked at GE as a machinist until he retired in 2000 to take care of his wife Kathleen. He was a talented woodworker and made many beautiful things over the years. He could fix anything and was always working on a project. He also loved German Shepherds and usually owned two or three of them at a time. Through the years he was involved in obedience and agility training with them. You would often see him walking the dogs while he was on his motorized chair. Another passion of his was classic cars, especially his red Mustang.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his Wife, Kathleen Kwiatkowski; his son Kevin Kwiatkowski; and one sister Joan Miller.

He is survived by his daughter Cheryl Roberts and her husband Jerome of Erie; four granddaughters: Tiffany Jackson, Casey Hubbell (John), Madison Roberts and Amarea Roberts all of Erie; and a brother, Gary Kwiatkowski of Erie. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, June 26, at the Kloecker-Razanauskas Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (4396 Iroquois Ave. in Lawrence Park) from 3pm until the time of the service at 6pm. Burial will be private at St. Gregory Cemetery. Send condolences to www.kloeckerfuneralhome.com.
