James Lance Leftwich was born on March 12, 1970 in Cleveland, OH to Alfred, Sr. and Elizabeth (Rowland) Leftwich. James made his journey to the Spirit World on July 12, 2024 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
James is survived by his mother, Elizabeth (Rowland) Leftwich; brothers, Alfred Leftwich and Children - Roman Leftwich, Destiny Leftwich, Dominic Leftwich, and Xavier Leftwich, and David (Kelly Hosie) Leftwich and children -Tayamni Leftwich, Blaine Leftwich, Bryee Leftwich, and Darrell Standing Soldier; daughters, Kaneeshia Red Bear, Laticia Leftwich, Bria Leftwich, Jayde Bettelyoun; son, Antonio Cortes; grandchildren, Naticia Wounded Head, Omari Red Bear, Mannuella Carmona, Tylor Leftwich, Royal Leftwich, Lucious Pourier, Tessa Pourier, and all other family.
James was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Leftwich, Sr.; step-father, Aldelbert Tail; grandmothers, Blanch Jurado and Rose Rowland; brothers, Benji Yellow Horse and Gabe Rowland; and great grandparents, Benton & Annie Rowland.
