James Edward Lewis, 69, passed away Monday May 29, 2023
A native of McDowell County he had resided in Jackson County most of his life
He was the son of Louise Taylor of Marion and the late Ray Lewis
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Vicki Lewis
3 Sons; Jamie Lewis of Canton, NC
John Lewis of Sylva
Jeff Lewis of Jacksonville, Fla
3 Grandchildren; Amanda (Tyler), Josh (Wendy), Jonathan
2 Great Grandchildren; Juliette and Matilda
1 Sister and 2 Brothers also survive.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am Saturday June 3, 2023 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Jeffrey Vickery officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 am till 11:00 prior to the Service at the Funeral Home.
