James (Jim) Harold Lipe, age 85 of Cabot, Arkansas passed away on March 8, 2026 while surrounded by his family. He was born in New Blaine, Arkansas on December 7, 1940 to the late James Henry and Lila Norene Lipe.
He is survived by his wife Eva Lipe, brother Gary Lipe and wife Rebekah of Ratcliff, daughter Sandi Spears and husband Tommy of Jacksonville, granddaughters, Blair Anderson of Little Rock, Heather Brown and husband RJ of Austin, TX step son Gary Mitchel and wife Roscilla of Beebe, step daughter Loretta Sisco of Cabot along with multi grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his 1st wife of 34 years, Jean Lipe, sons Craig and Ricky Lipe, step son Darren Mitchell and brothers John and Wayne Lipe.
Jim was a retired auto mechanic and racing engine builder. He graduated from Paris High School in 1959. He was a member of Restoration Church in Beebe. He was the life of the party in his younger years, but found a quiet life at home surrounded by his family and dogs to be a relaxing retirement.
Visitation will be held on Thursday March 12 from 6-8 pm and Funeral Service at 10:30 am on Friday March 13 at Smith Funeral Home North Little Rock. Burial will be at Rest Hills Cemetery in North Little Rock.
