It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of James J. Loefke on May 26, 2025, in Buffalo, NY. He was a loving father, dedicated to his children: Joshua, Justin, Leah (Seth Hughes), and Jonathan (Brittany Wick). James cherished the role of grandfather to his beloved grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.
Throughout his life, James was surrounded by many friends and relatives who admired his kindness and spirit. His warmth and dedication to family and community touched countless lives.
The family invites those who knew and loved James to gather in celebration of his remarkable life. A gathering will take place on Friday, June 6th, starting at 9 AM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 5090 Transit Rd., Depew, NY 14043. A Celebration of Life will commence at 9:45 AM, followed by James’s interment at WNY National Cemetery, where he will receive full military honors at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you hold James's memory close to your heart. Your love and support during this time are profoundly appreciated as they celebrate a life well-lived and the legacy he leaves behind.
