Thank you for being you and that consistent POSITIVE, STRONG, Black role model for us kids. Reflecting back on my life it doesn't surprise me now that I joined the military and St Paul Fire Dept. IThank you for being you Sir.

Jim Logan would never allow me to sleep past 6:45 AM at the fire station. His famous quote to me: "let loose the bed young man, you're burning daylight "

Mr Logan or Jim as I called him was a big part of my childhood at fire station 10. I will never forget his ribs his smile and his laughter. Always made me feel welcome to be around him. The world lost a great one. Thank you for the memories Jim.

I met JIm when we got on the Fire Dept. What a character, I loved listening to all of his stories and he had a long list of them. He had a huge smile for everyone he met. I haven't seen him in many years but I can still hear him talking to me with his charm and wit. Thanks for the great time, gonna miss you buddy.
