So sorry to hear of Uncle Son's passing. He was always so warm and funny. When my husband met him, he asked Son, "So you're Lisa's great uncle?" and Son replied "Everything about me is great!" He was so upbeat about his many hospital stays, and once told me "I've had everything done except a hysterectomy. I had to get out 'cause they were gonna try that next." And so many other great lines. He was also very kind. When both of my parents (his niece Gloria and my dad Ronald) were fighting cancer, he called to check on them so often, and helped keep our spirits up. I wish I had found out in time to attend the service, but I just heard about it from another family member late last night. Wishing you all love and strength and peace. They sure don't make 'em like Son anymore.
