James Lyons Obituary
He was born February 28, 1941, in Bronx, NY, son of the late Edward and Frances Osborne Lyons. James served with the US Army for 1966-69 in Vietnam.
He was of the Catholic Faith.
James enjoyed all kinds of sports. His niece and nephew will remember him for his willingness to travel with them anywhere, especially remember trips to Florida and Disney World and to Yankee games.
He is survived by his niece Gretchen Kubera and husband David of Utica, his nephew Bradley Hugick of Atlanta, GA; his great niece Sara Segerlin and wife Leah. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his bother Peter Lyons and his sister Patricia Hugick.
A funeral service will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours. Interment will be in Green Lawn Cemetery, New Hartford.
