MARCHIONE JAMES F., On June 3rd, 2018, James F. Marchione passed away peacefully at the age of 95. He was born and raised in the Tacony section of Philadelphia and resided in Elkins Park for the last 25 years. He is survived by his loving son, Michael, his daughter-in-law, Karen, and his granddaughter, Madeline, who he fondly referred to as "The School Teacher". Immediately after the attack on Pearl Harbor, James enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served his country until the end of World War II. To honor his service he was awarded the American Campaign Medal and the Victory Medal. Jim was a loving father and grandfather and will be forever remembered affectionately and missed by all whose lives he touched. On June 8th 2018, private family services were held for James, and he was interred at St. Dominic Church Cemetery in Philadelphia where he will lay in rest beside his beloved late wife Madeline.

Jim was great friend and will be greatly missed by me . We talked daily for over 12-years . He demostrated the kind of values and strength that made this country and those who lived in it special.
