JAMES MATIER Obituary
He was born on Nov. 25, 1975 in Philipsburg to Andrea (Selvage) Dobish and the late James Matier, Sr.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two children, Lacy Cheskey and Eric Matier; sister, Patricia Mick; step-father, David Dobish; step-sister, Lisa Shaw; seven grandchildren with one on the way; several nieces and nephews, and two great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother-in-law, Kevin Mick, Sr.
Jimbo was a member of both the Houtzdale and Madera volunteer fire companies. He enjoyed working at Mel's Car shows.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Jimbo was the most kindhearted person you would have ever know. He was always there to help anyone he could. There was no one who didn´t like Jim. He was a great little brother and was always by my side. He is loved and miss so much.

I am so extremely sorry about Jimbo's passing. When Mike was reading about it he asked me his last name. I was shocked but the pain that came with it was unreal. I knew Jimbo from the time he was young. Even through the pain, there was good memories that came to me. He was a wonderful guy. He would give someone the shirt off of his back if they needed it. He was one of the most selfless people I have ever known. He is loved and will be missed by many. Sending your family many prayers, love and hugs.
