James Maulden

James Carroll Maulden, 75, of Brunswick, passed away Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at his residence.

Carroll was born Jan. 19, 1950, in Brunswick, to Thomas Daniel Maulden and Annie Yawn Maulden. He had lived in Brunswick all his life and had retired from Brunswick Pulp and Paper in 2013, where he worked as a crane operator and was over the wood yard. He was an avid sports fan, including baseball, football and NASCAR.

Survivors include his companion of 20 years, Patricia Miller; brothers, Ron Maulden (Rosemary) and Doug Maulden (Jamilene), all of Brunswick; nephews, George Greynolds (Wendy), Chris Maulden and Russell Maulden; a niece, Keely Meadows (Trey); special friends, Jocelyn and Robbie Thomas, Kortnie Newsome, Alaynah Newsome, Kodie Thomas, Cori Thomas, Chandler Thomas and Rhett Thomas; close friends, Donnie O'Quinn, Steve Koncz, Ben Townsend, Charlie Burgess and Kelly Lewis; and all of the wood yard crew. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Greynolds Robertson.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Heartland Hospice and their nurses Andrew and Susan, for the exceptional care given to Carroll during his illness.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, at Brunswick Memorial Park, with Pastor Jamie Jackson officiating.
