James Ray McDonald

1964 - 2022

James Ray McDonald age 57 of Clovis NM, passed away Monday May 30th. James was surrounded by his loving family who are comforted knowing that Jimmy is finally at peace.
James had many interests. He loved rodeos and attended them with his grandfather every year without fail. He had an affection for classic Rock music and dabbled in writing lyrics to songs, and Antiquing was far his favorite past time acquired many unique pieces over the years. Jimmy also had many talents. He was a gifted motor cross rider which he spent most of his youth racing with his younger brother and cousins. He was blessed with an eye for creating abstract art, which he selflessly gifted to those he cared for. His house was his muse, and he took great pleasure making it diverse and interesting.
Preceding James in death were his grandparents: BD Pete Langford, Gladys and Jim Pruitt, JW, and Irene McDonald.
James is survived by his mother, Phyllis Fenn, Father J.W McDonald Jr. and children: Aaron, Emily, Amanda, and Cara. Siblings Becky Hadley (James), Jody McDonald (Anessa), Tracey Dominguez (Roman), Mickie Faircloth (Bryandt)and Joely Toler (Clint) and their children, Jimmy will be missed by his companion Kathy McDonald and their beloved dog Megan.
Services for family and friends are still being planned at this time and will be announced at a later date.
