James Alex McField

James Alex McField was born on June 8, 1971, in New York, New York, and passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, in Greensboro, North Carolina, at the age of 54.

James dedicated both his personal and professional life to mentoring and uplifting those around him. He spent many years coaching youth sports, volunteering in his community, and leading diverse teams across his career in management. His commitment to personal growth and servant leadership was clear to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

He was an avid sports enthusiast, often proudly wearing gear from his favorite teams - the Syracuse Orange, New York Yankees, New York Knicks, and Dallas Cowboys.

He was a loving father to his sons, James McField and Jalen McField, who will forever cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Rose, presence and memory remained close to his heart throughout his life. He is also survived by immediate family members, Diana, Ameta, Felicia, Denise, and Venice.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. His legacy of unwavering love, leadership, and commitment to his family will endure in the hearts of those who knew him.
