Mr. Mike McLelland, age 73, of Collinsville passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Felia Lynn McLelland; children, Melissa Bryan (Tommy), Brandy Aust (Clint), Amber Darnell (Lawerence), Jamie Warren (Joey), Travis Sanders (Jessica), Rance Speed, and Chase McLelland (Farris); grandchildren, Eli Bryan, Harper Bryan, Grady Aust, Roe Aust, Ethan Milstead, Paisleigh Milstead, Brystol Milstead, Fisher Haskins, Maralee Warren, Kinsley Sanders, Oliver Jackson, Mackenzie McLelland, and Maci McLelland; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends; beloved dog, Bo Bo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Baby Lea McLelland; brother, Charlie McLelland.
Mike was a hardworking man who took great pride in his job. He worked for 28 years at Peavey Electronics and later for 13 years at Tower Automotive. Mike was a true craftsman, capable of building just about anything from the ground up. He would fix whatever was placed in front of him with just a little dedication and time.
He was a loyal Ole Miss fan through and through. Win or lose, he stood by his Rebels. He loved a good rivalry and the thrill of friendly competition.
Mike loved his family deeply, but above all, he cherished his wife, Felia. They were best friends who walked through every season of life hand in hand. Their devotion to one another was evident and inspiring to everyone who knew them.
Bo Bo wasn’t just a dog — he was Mike’s best buddy and sidekick. The two shared a special bond, full of loyalty and companionship.
Mike’s humor was one of his greatest traits. He was always ready with a joke that could lighten any room. His laughter was contagious and impossible to not join in on.
Mike will be greatly missed by his friends and family. They find peace in knowing that he is in the presence of his Lord and Savior.
