James Medkeff Obituary
James Medkeff Jr., 79, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away January 4, 2024, surrounded by his loving family in his residence. Born December 9, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio, to James and Shirley (Young) Medkeff Sr. James worked for Toledo Building Services for 30 years where he was a union steward and supervisor.
James was an avid drag racing enthusiast taking the family to many races throughout the years. James enjoyed watching his beloved Cleveland Brown and Ohio State football teams but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family traveling and photography.
James was preceded in death his wife, Joanne Medkeff; son, James L. Medkeff; brother, Wesley.
Surviving is his daughter, Angela (Daniel) Zunk; son, Randy Medkeff; sisters, Kay (Gary) Collins, Roberta Morgan, brothers, Richard (Diane) Medkeff, Greg Morgan. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received at The Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home, 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd, on Thursday, January 11, 2024, after 5 p.m. where services will be held at 6:30 p.m. The family suggests memorials to the Wood County Humane Society.
