James Michael Medlock-Jones, born on January 22, 1981, passed away on October 22, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A cherished son, husband, father, brother, and friend, James lived a life full of love and dedication to his family and friends.
James is survived by the love of his life, Kristian Inda, of the home; son, Taylor Wilson, and his daughters, Gabriella Noyes, Shyenne Wilson, and Railey Wilson. He is also survived by his sisters, Melissa Moore and Michelle Snoderly, as well as brother, Tony D. James leaves behind numerous grandchildren who enriched his life and brought him immense joy. Additionally, he had many good friends who became like family to him.
James was preceded in death by his mother, LaDonna Sue Austin, and his other mom, Patricia Jones. He was also preceded by his grandparents, Roy and Sharon Dill, and Juanita Kelly, as well as uncles, Tony and Sam, an aunt, Terri, and cousin, Sheila Bennet Sierra.
Throughout his life, James had a profound appreciation for the outdoors, finding joy in the simple pleasures of nature. He enjoyed his job and was known for his unwavering work ethic. A man who could never sit still, James had an inquisitive mind and loved to tinker with anything he could find, always eager to explore and learn. His good heart and positive spirit touched the lives of those around him.
A memorial service to celebrate James's life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel.
