James A Miller

James A. Miller, age 44, of Gurley, NE passed away at his home on Friday, July 25, 2025. Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration will take place at a later date. The family will be having a Remembrance for James on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 2-4:00 P.M. in the basement of the Gurley Community Hall. Coffee, tea, and cookies will be served.

James "Jami" Miller was born in Sidney, NE on December 14, 1980, to Bruce and Judy (Geiger) Miller. He graduated from Leyton High School in 1999 and attended college in Hastings, NE.
James worked in a variety of jobs in Alliance and Sidney, including Cabela's in the IT Department. After the divorce from his first wife, James spent many years with his partner, Amanda Munger.
James is survived by his mother, Judy (Geiger) Miller; nephew, Zane Miller and partner Sarah Valentine along with their children, Dimitri and Anastasia; aunts, Denise Miller, Lee Hill, Gwen Kurtz and numerous cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Herman and Dorothy (Grimes) Miller and William and Viola (Ward) Geiger; father, Bruce Miller; older brother, Brandon Miller; aunt, Marilyn Spring; aunt and uncle, Keith and Cheryl Miller; uncles, Gene Miller, Wendell Hill, and Tom Kurtz.
