Barbara Jean Miller

Barbara Jean Miller, 87, passed away November 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 17, 1938, in Coxsackie, New York, to the late Norman and Clarine Gardner.

Barbara married the love of her life, Roger Miller, and they shared many years together until his passing. She became a registered nurse, dedicating her career to the OB-GYN field. Family was at the center of everything Barbara did. She found great joy in cooking for loved ones, watching the birds in her yard, and tending to her garden. Her home was always filled with warmth and love.

She is survived by her loving children: Eric Heins (Misty) and Valerie Miller; a son-in-law, Thomas Pauls; her grandchildren: Kristin Prine, Matthew Heins, Alexzander Phillippe, Keith Phillippe, Daniel Pauls (Mandy), Michael Pauls, and Amanda Pauls; eight beloved great grandchildren; as well as a sister, Sharon Guth. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roger Miller; as well as her daughter, Debra Pauls.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, beginning at 11am at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 206 Central Ave, Summerville, SC 29483.
