Robert Anthony Ferrese

Robert Anthony Ferrese, 70, of Summerville, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on November 28, 1955, in Elkton, Maryland, Robert was the son of the late Anthony Robert Ferrese and Norma Shockley Ferrese. He was married to his devoted wife, Shelley Kay Ferrese, for more than 47 wonderful years. Robert was known for his unforgettable sense of humor. He could light up a room with his loud laugh and quick wit, and he was never afraid to share a joke. Robert enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether it was at the beach, fishing, or hunting. He also loved his motorcycles, riding every chance he had.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shelley Kay Ferrese; his children: Jennifer Leigh Powell (James), Anthony Robert Ferrese (Shauna), and Heather Colon-Vega; his grandchildren: Caleb Powell, Jayden Powell, Camden Powell, Jackson Powell, Taetym Colon-Vega, Raeliyana Colon-Vega, and Palace "Laci" Hock; his siblings: Deborah House (Dwight), Carol Linton, and Victoria McVey; his loyal dog, Simba; as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son in law, Jonathan Colon-Vega; as well as his brother in law, George Linton.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 5pm to 7pm at James A. Dyal Funeral Home.
