James Mojica

James Mojica, 59, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Born on March 26, 1966, and raised in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, James was a man who loved life, laughter, and family above all else. Known for his humor, kindness, and passion for cars and car toys, he brought joy to everyone around him. He was a devoted father, husband, brother, and friend, always putting his loved ones first and finding ways to make them smile.
James is survived by his wife, Rosa Flete, and his daughters, Cynthia and Paula. He also leaves many brothers and sisters, both biological and chosen, as well as extended family and friends who supported and cared for him throughout his life.
He is now reunited in heaven with his parents, Guillermina Bernard and Angel Mojica; his beloved son, Bruce Mojica; and many dear friends and family who went before him, whose love helped shape the man he became.
A wake for James will be held on November 12, 2025, at DeRiso Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to attend and share stories, memories, and laughter in his honor. His warmth, strength, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
