It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sammy Delgado Mojica, who left this world on August 29, 2025, at the age of 53. Sammy was born on December 8, 1971, and throughout his life he was known for his creativity, resourcefulness, and his deep love for family.
Sammy had a passion for antiques and classic cars. He enjoyed watching shows like Pawn Stars and Storage Wars. His favorite movies were from the Fast and the Furious series, which matched his love for speed and adventure. He was very creative and had a gift for making use of everything around him, always finding new ways to create and build.
He was preceded by his father, Jesse R. Mojica Sr., his mother, Violanda Mojica, and his wife, Christi Mojica.
He is survived by his son Elijah Mojica, and his daughters Ella Nicole Pitman and Caitlin Mojica. He is also survived by his brother Jesse R. Mojica Jr., his sister Anna Delgado, his cherished grandchildren Fabian Pitman Jr. and Nora Pitman, and his beloved cat, Aurora. His memory lives on with his many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Sammy will be remembered for the joy he brought into the lives of his family and friends, his ability to see value in everything, and his unwavering love and dedication to those closest to him. His legacy of love and laughter will continue to live through his family and all whose lives he touched. He will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
