WOODRUFF- James Franklin Montgomery, 70, of 904 Miller Road passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Regional Hospice Home.
He was born December 15, 1951, to the late James Patrick and Ailene Montgomery. He was a retired machinist with J.W. Lewis in Greer and was a 1970 graduate of Dorman High School.
Surviving is his wife, Debbie Gideon Montgomery of the home; one son, Ben (Natalie) Montgomery of Sedona, Arizona; one sister, Cathy (Robbie) Smith of Boiling Springs; three brothers, Avery (Pam) Anders of Dacusville, Marshall (Sherri) Anders of Dacusville and Steve Anders of Dacusville; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his fur baby, Jackson. He was predeceased by s son, Chris Montgomery.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, September 25, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens by his son, Ben Montgomery.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary.
The family is at the residence.
