James (Jim) Stewart Moore died December 15th, 2025. He was 69 years old.
Jim was born in Calgary and lived there his whole life. Jim had a love of heavy equipment at an early age, and his early career was as an operator of heavy equipment. He later went to the University of Calgary, earning a bachelor's degree in Economics. He then entered the Waste Industry, running the Calgary Landfill as a District Manager for over 30 years (he loved his job and the people he met). He enjoyed target shooting, the outdoors, and vacationing in Tampa, Florida.
He is survived by his wife Karen, brother Kerry Robert Moore Jr, and daughter Julie (Alex). Jim is predeceased by his daughter Laurie.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Donations to honor his memory may be given to Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation (AIWC)
