Born on October 15, 1925, in Salem, Kentucky, James lived a remarkable life characterized by hard work, dedication, and a steadfast commitment to excellence.

James devoted a significant portion of his life to the automotive industry as a Senior Engineering Associate at General Motors. His contributions to the field were not only vital but also a testament to his innovative spirit and unwavering commitment to quality.

In honor of his remarkable life, a Funeral Service will be held at the James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. The family hour will precede the service at 10:30 a.m., allowing friends and loved ones to gather in reflection and remembrance.

Following the service, James will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Detroit, MI.
