Robert "Robbie" Brinson "Robbie" Moore, Sr. Sr.

Robert "Robbie" Brinson Moore, Sr. went home to be with Jesus Friday, August 1st, 2025. Robbie was born June 6th, 1953 and lived the majority of his life in Vanceboro, NC.

Funeral service will be held Friday, August 8th, 3pm, at OverFlow Worship Center, 2360 NC Hwy 43, Vanceboro, NC 28586. Burial will immediately follow the service at Celestial Memorial Gardens in Vanceboro. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 7th, 6pm-8pm at the church.

Robbie's first and greatest love was his Family. You would have thought his life could get no better, until his grandchildren came along. Spoiling them was his favorite pastime.

Other than "turnin' wrenches", drivin' trucks was Robbie's life's career. His love of mechanics gave him a true appreciation of cars and how fast he could make them go, especially his Dodge Dart. Those who knew Robbie in his younger days know that racing cars and building motors were a real passion of his. This passion and appreciation of cars is one that he passed down to his kids. Robbie fell in love with truckin' at a very young age and made a life-long career out of it. From the driver's seat of an eighteen wheeler for 45 years, he saw the country from a viewpoint many do not get to experience. This viewpoint and experience made him an amazing story teller, some would even say long winded.

Robbie is the son of the late George Brinson & Erma Toler Moore. He is survived by, sister, Jill Moore Campbell; Elaine and husband Andy Scott, who he considered his good friends; daughter, Christy Moore Foreman and husband, George; and son, Robert Brinson "Brint" Moore, Jr.; Robbie is also survived by five grandchildren, Elaina "Lana" Moore, Emilee "LeeLee" Foreman, Raven Moore, Dakota "Kota" Moore, & Remington "Remi" Moore.
