John Bryan Obituary
A proud veteran, Johnnie served over three decades across multiple branches of the U.S. military, including the Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, and the North Carolina National Guard.
Johnnie loved adventure, travel, and family. He was known for his humor, warmth, and the way he turned every moment into a memorable experience.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Terrall H. Bryan; his children, Storm Bryan-Williamson, and John L. Bryan III; grandchildren, Heather (Mel), Carolei, Christopher, and Alisha; son-in-law Robert Williamson; sister-in-law, Paige Howard Hickson; brothers-in-law, Thurman Watlington, Chandler T. Howard, and Grant T. Howard; and many cousins, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and his in-laws, Mortimer and Hazel T. Howard.
Celebration of Life: Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 12:00 PM - St. Luke's Baptist Church, Salisbury, NC.
Burial: Tuesday, October 14, 2025 - VA National Cemetery (private service).
