Leslie Ray Toler

Leslie Ray Toler, 67, passed away on October 16, 2025.
A graveside service will be held on Monday at 1 PM at High Bridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the New Haven Church Activity Center on Monday prior to the service from 12 PM to 1:00 PM.
Leslie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who deeply cherished his family. He was happily married to Cathy Toler for 42 years. Leslie graduated from West Craven High School. He held various jobs throughout his life, from surveying with Jerome Norman, to Bosch Power Tools, to Weyerhaueser of New Bern. Leslie served as a member of the Little Swift Creek Fire Department for many years. He loved playing music and was quite the handyman, skilled with tools and electrical work, often building things around the house.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Cathy Norman Toler; parents, Quentin and Doris Toler; brothers, Sammy Toler and Johnnie Toler; sisters, Jennifer Centers and husband, Darrell, Linda Carol Toler, and Mary Jones; and a brother-in-law Livingston "Tiny" Jones.
Leslie is survived by his son, Quentin Toler, and wife, Kelli of Vanceboro; grandchildren, Calli Elizabeth Toler and Colton Ray Toler; brother, Donald Toler and wife, Sherry of Ernul; sisters Kay Jones of Ernul, Marilyn Jones and husband, Jimmie of Ernul, and Connie Moore, and husband, Walter "Buzzy" of Cove City; brother-in-law, Victor "Tommy" Jones of Ernul; and a sister-in-law Martha Toler of Ernul.
