James Moran Obituary
He is survived by the love of his life Brenda, his daughters, Julie and her husband Alec, Shae and her husband Tom, his granddaughter Margot James, his siblings, Michael and his wife Nancy, Mark and his wife Alicia, DeeDee and her partner Ted, and countless others.
Rig was predeceased by his mother and father Mary and John, brother Jackie and his wife Liz, and his nephew, Jake.
It is impossible to sum up someone who was larger than life. To know him, was to love him.
Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Rig's life by gathering for visiting hours in the Norton, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. Framingham on Thursday January 22nd from 5:30-7:30PM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Stephen Church, 221 Concord St. Framingham on Friday January 23rd at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Edgell Grove Cemetery.

My sincerest condolences to Jim´s immediate family and to the extended Moran family. Jim was part of an iconic Framingham family. Hard working, friendly, athletic, competitive, family-loyal are words that jump to the forefront of my mind. I knew Rig from early St. Stephen´s days, Butterworth Park, and youth sports. I had the pleasure of watching Jim (and my classmate Mark) compete and excel in the Framingham youth sports scene. Jim had a great smile then and one I got to joyfully see in recent years even as Jim embraced his challenge. Framingham and beyond had lost a solid citizen. RIP Jim - Rig

I am so sorry for your losses - of a husband, father, brother, uncle - it is devastating for all. Although I did not know him well, I know his wife and children and they are some of the kindest and most loving humans - you all will be in my thoughts as you mourn Rig in the months to come. I am so glad he got to spend time with and enjoy his beautiful granddaughter Margot.
