James Moricone, of White Plains, New York passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 12, 2022. He was born to Amalia Mollie nee Siniscalchi) and Lorenzo Larry Moricone in Bronx, New York on July 30, 1946.
James attended public school 121 and 135 in the Bronx, followed by The High School of Art & Design in NYC. After attending The High School of Art & Design, James worked as a draftsman at Tishman Realty & Construction Co., Inc. responsible for the design and development of the World Trade Center. Following that he worked as a draftsman in the design of cell towers. He married his wife Diane of 43 years on June 23, 1979, and they raised two daughters Jamie and Jennifer Moricone. With his wife Diane, he started a successful limousine service, James Limousine Service, Inc. James was an actor, producer, and a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA). He starred in many movies and commercial roles, as well as independent films. His credits include films such as The Last Wise Guy (2022), Intervention (2004), Beyond Reason, Made Men and WWE Monday Night Raw Don Cici commercial amongst many others. He also appeared on talk shows and started a local broadcast TV show The Senior Guys . He was a talented artist, sculptor and painter and was always working on a home improvement project. He knew how to build and fix everything to perfection. After retiring from the Limousine business, he occupied his free time with jobs in Security and most recently as a Home Depot associate.
Jimmy was a loving husband, father, brother, and son. He was impossible not to love and had a personality bigger than life. He could talk to anyone about anything and made friends everywhere he went. Everybody knew Jimmy and Jimmy knew everybody. He was loved by all and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
James is survived by his wife, Diane (nee James) Moricone; their two daughters, Jamie Moricone and Jennifer Moricone of White Plains, New York. His sister Barbara Moricone and brother Larry (Nina) Moricone and his nieces Toni Moricone and Gina Moricone. He is predeceased by his parents, Mollie and Larry Moricone.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005, heart.org.
