J. Russo Obituary
Dr. Russo proudly served his country in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Captain during his service from 1962 to 1970.
He dedicated many years of his professional life as an anesthesiologist at St. Agnes Hospital, where he was highly respected by colleagues and patients alike. He retired in 1993. He was also a member of the Westchester County Medical Society.
Outside of his medical career, Dr. Russo embraced life with enthusiasm. He was an avid skier and a member of the Mogul Meisters Club. He enjoyed sailing and gardening, and had a natural talent for fixing things. He was also a passionate model train enthusiast.
He is survived by his niece, Cara (Joseph) Reinoehl of Delanson, New York; his nephew, Matthew (Leah) Nolan of Winthrop, Massachusetts; as well as JoAnn Kulsa of New York, New York, and Alice Weiss of White Plains, New York. He was predeceased by his sister, Rosemary Nolan and his brother-in-law James Nolan.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lake George Association, 2392 State Route 9N, Lake George, NY 12845.
