James Motes Obituary
Mr. Motes is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Annie Mae Wade Motes; son, Richard Motes; and siblings, Eva Mae Hoven and Frank Motes.
He is survived by his children, Lamar (Angie) Motes, Gary (Sandra) Motes and Mary Ann (Clay, Sr.) Ready; siblings, Thomas (Glenda) Motes, Fred Motes and Alton (Linda Nell) Motes; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 11:00 am at Lathan Funeral Home with Bro. David Guy, Sr. officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Norman Clay "Tarzan" Ready, Robin Dewayne "Vito" Ready, James Gissendanner, Paul Criswell, Mike Ready and Jeff Motes.
