James Mack Murry, 80, of Noxapater, Mississippi, passed on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at his home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025 at 2 p.m., from Pleasant Ridge M. B. Church, 90 Laura Street, Noxapater, MS. 39346. Visitation will be Friday from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Mount Vernon Cemetery, 200 Culberson Road, Noxapater, MS. 39346. Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangements.
James was born May 10, 1945 to the parents of Mack Nunn and Lucy Murry in Winston County Mississippi.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Lucy; siblings, E. J. Murry, Earnestine Moore, Gladys Culberson, Octavia Phillips, Hezekiah Murry, Maxine Shoemaker and Willie "Roy" Murry.
James is survived by his wife, Alice M. Murry; children, Reginald A. Murry, Marcia D. Hickman and Kevin B. Murry (Jessica Nicole); grandchildren, Jmarrion Murry Lynch (Aliya), Madalyn L. Hickman and Markeives D. Johnson; 1 great grand child; brother, Elder Riley D. Murry (Dorothy); nieces, nephews and other relatives and family.
