James Nystrom Obituary
James W. Nystrom, age 73 of Litchfield, MN died on Wednesday April 3, 2024 at Bethesda Grand in Willmar, MN. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday April 13, 2024 at Johnson Hagglund Funeral and Cremation in Litchfield, MN. A visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 PM on Friday at Johnson Hagglund and will continue one hour prior to the service.
James Willard Nystrom, the son of Willard and Margaret (Anderson) Nystrom was born on March 16, 1951 in Litchfield, MN. Jim grew up in Litchfield and graduated from Litchfield High School in 1970. He was united in marriage to Sharon Johnson on January 20, 1973 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield. Jim was an over the road truck driver in the tri-state area for Cobra Transportation of St. Paul, MN. He had a unique funny, stubborn and sarcastic personality; and enjoyed riding motorcycles, snowmobiling and car racing.
Jim is survived by his wife Sharon Johnson of Litchfield, MN; daughter Renee Nystrom of Litchfield; grandchildren Dean Nystrom, Katelyn (Jay) Snegosky, Jacob Ervasti and Jade Bowman.; and sister Wendy Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents Willard and Margaret.
