James was born December 25, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York to James E. and Catherine Oswalt. He worked as an electrician, enjoyed sailing and owned his own sailboat. James was a Jimmy Buffet fan and was even born on the same day.
He is survived by a brother, Richard Oswalt; and several cousins.

So sorry to hear about Jimmy's passing. He will always be a very special person in my life. We had many good times together in our younger years. In fact, we moved to West Palm Beach together in the early 70's, where I still live.
