Mr. Johnny Oswalt, 81, passed away on November 11, 2025, at his home in West Point. Johnny was born on November 20, 1943, in Sturgis, to the late Carl and Bessie Mae Betts Oswalt. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked as a row crop farmer and a small engine mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, processing deer, and simply being outside. He especially enjoyed watching "Wheel of Fortune." He married Sandra Oswalt on December 28, 2002, in West Point. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-son, Royce Crowley, four sisters, Shirley Doss, Arlene Hurst, Eunice Chism, and Joyce Huffman and two brothers, Jimmy and Tommy Oswalt.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 2:00-3:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home in West Point. A Memorial Service will follow 3:00 P.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Parker officiating. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Oswalt of West Point: daughter, Tina Oswalt Rienzi of West Point: son, John Oswalt of West Point: step-daughter, Diana Parker of West Point: six grandchildren, Hannah Oswalt of West Point, Stacy Wiebe (Joshua) of Bonne Terre, Missouri, Sarah Rienzi (Cameron) of Birmingham, Alabama, Andrew Reinzi of West Palm Beach, Florida, Dustin Weedon of West Point, and Ashley Fields (Dalton) of West Point: nine great- grandchildren; step-grandson, Corey Parker of West Point: brother, Pee Wee Oswalt (Cathy) of West Point: brother-in-law, Earl Huffman of West Point, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Honorary Pallbearers will be his many friends in the Tibbee Community.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 or to LeBonheur Children's Hospital, 848 Adams Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38103.
