James Arvin Pair Sr., 67, of Harrisburg, PA passed away at his home on January 4, 2023. He was born on February 3, 1955, to the late Eugene Pair and Vertie Watts-Pair at Harrisburg Hospital. In addition to his parents, James is preceded by his sisters, Zellar Brown and Elizabeth (Libby) Little.
James Sr. attended Harrisburg High School and obtained his GED later in life. In his earlier years, James loved driving to Grantville, PA to watch the horse races. James left his children with fond memories of experiencing his love for “the races” and watching them alongside him as small children. James enjoyed driving on Sundays with his family and friends while grooving to the latest hit R&B songs. James left his children with one of his favorite songs, “Saturday Love” by Cherelle.
James is survived by his three children, sons, James Pair Jr. (Consir) and Eugene Pair (Gene), daughter, Marie Little (Nene); five grandchildren, Autumn Fleming, Jordan Little, Kyree Pair, Jaryen Little and Jasele Pair; 2 great-grandchildren, Lyla and Angelina Fleming; brother Morris Little and a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Masks are necessary and required during services.
