Earlier today

Jim was a great man and a great coach. He always had a smile on his face when I'd talk to him. My prayers are with his family.

So sorry to hear. Will keep the Patzle family in my prayers. I have good memories of Jim when I was a kid and I appreciated a tough coach, he taught me to play defense. May the Lord's peace be upon you all.

We lost a terrific man in Jim Patzke. He was also one the all time great athletes from the state of Oregon.

The Patzke family is in our thoughts and prayers, so sorry for your loss. Jim was one of the finest people that I ever met. He was someone that I looked up to. Heck of a athlete also. Again, so sorry for your loss. Semper Fi
