Jim was a great man and a great coach. He always had a smile on his face when I'd talk to him. My prayers are with his family.

So sorry to hear. Will keep the Patzle family in my prayers. I have good memories of Jim when I was a kid and I appreciated a tough coach, he taught me to play defense. May the Lord's peace be upon you all.

We lost a terrific man in Jim Patzke. He was also one the all time great athletes from the state of Oregon.
