James L. Pinto, of Collings Lakes, 98, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on June 3, 2025. Born in Phila, PA, he lived there until moving to Collings Lakes 60 years ago. Hank worked as a truck driver for A. Penza Trucking in Phila. for over 70 years before retiring. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Church & the Knights of Columbus, where he served as an honorary elder. Hank enjoyed being outdoors, hunting & birdwatching. He was also a talented artist, especially drawing. Above all, he cherished his family & was known to be the "best Pop Pop ever." Beloved husband of the late Catherine R. Pinto (nee Aloisio). Devoted father of Thomas A. Pinto (Kathy), Angelina Homan, Pasquale Pinto & the late Thomas Pinto. Loving Pop Pop of Josh (Tina), Melissa (Chris), Carly (Mike), Lindsay (Ryan) & Brittany (AJ). Treasured Great Pop Pop of Josh, Gwen, Corey, Nick, Chase, Fable, Lukas, Parker, Logan, Jaxon, Genevieve & AJ. Predeceased by siblings Carmella Dupoldt, Rachel Pagano & Anthony Pinto (Sarah). He is also survived by many loving nieces & nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, June 10th from 9:30 – 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, 19 Malaga Road, Collings Lakes, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial: Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton.
