James Pippin Obituary
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald and Jerry Pippin.
James is survived by his son, James Darrell Pippin Jr.; his daughter, Angela Pippin; his sister, Wanda Powell (David); his granddaughters, Audrey Feeler and Madison Key; and his great-granddaughter, Allison Mae Vandiver; special friends Jenny and Ricky Phalen, as well as many nieces and nephews.
James was an avid outdoorsperson; he would rather have spent his time in nature than anywhere else. "Wood Hippie" was a free spirited man who was considered extremely creative and artistic by those who knew him. He was a good friend to many and loved to bring the party with him wherever he went.
Services have been entrusted to J. C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel. Cremation was chosen, and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 11th, from 3:00 p.m. until closing time at Spillway Bar & Grill.
