Mark was born May 13, 1970, in Dalton Georgia.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Frances Dyer Richards, father
Reverend David R. Pratt, Sr, a sister, Rachel Pratt and brother, Ronnie Pratt.
Mark is survived by his children, Brooke Pratt, Bridgette Pratt, Marcus Pratt and Carter
Keith Pratt; mother of his children, Robin Pratt all of Dalton GA; grandchildren, Daylan
Bain, Zander Pratt, Chandler Rymer, Keyston Pratt, Emory Pratt, Emerson Pratt, Nolan
Pratt, Saylor Pratt, Sawyer Pratt and Jensen Pratt; sisters, Judy Pratt of Longview, TX,
Debra Singleton, Donna Walden, Angie Overby, and Marta Pratt all of Dalton, GA;
several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. James Mark Timothy Pratt will be held Monday
morning, November 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend
Herbie Pratt and Reverend Johnny West officiating. He will be laid to rest at Brackett
Ridge Cemetery in Murray County, Georgia, with Ricky Wilkerson, Jr., Richard
Owenby, Robbie Shoemaker, Benji Earwood, Marcus Pratt and Daylan Bain honored to
serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Sunday and after 9:00 a.m. Monday until the service hour.
Arrangements are by Ponders Melrose Chapel, 138 Melrose Drive, Dalton, GA 30721.
