James “Jim” Ring, 78, of Fishers, passed away September 9, 2024, at his home.
He was born March 10, 1946, in Anderson, Indiana to Vearl and Ethel (Krebs) Ring.
Jim worked at GM for 35 years. He was a longtime member of the Corvette Club. Usually he could be found at a local car show with friends. Jim was known for his quiet sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Penny Ring; two sons, Aaron (Laura) Ring and Colin (Leah) Ring; grandchildren, James Vivian, Caleb, and Abby.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Jeanne Hayden.
A celebration of life gathering will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Bozell Funeral Homes – Lahm Chapel, 211 East State Street, Pendleton, Indiana 46064.
