James Tobin “Toby” Ritchie, 62, passed away on March 1, 2026, in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Ritchie was born on October 5, 1963, in Washington, D.C., to Jimmy and Martha Ritchie. He moved to Florida in 1999 from Maryland and made the Treasure Coast his home.
Toby worked in the roofing industry for many years. He enjoyed fishing, spending time on the water, and playing pool. He will be remembered for his love of family and the simple joys that brought him happiness.
Survivors include his wife, Dawn Edwards of Fort Pierce, Florida; his sons, James Tobin “TJ” (Sarah) Ritchie, Jr. of Maryland and Chance (Siobhan) Ritchie of Fort Pierce, Florida; his brother, Jeffrey (Debbie) Ritchie of Fort Pierce, Florida; his father, Jimmy (Marlena) Ritchie of Fort Pierce, Florida; and his grandchildren, Roman and Savanna Ritchie.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Lee Ritchie.
