James Jason Rivera, age 44, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
Jason is survived by his loving parents, Shirley Lucero and James Rivera; and his brothers, Justin Sullivan and Jeremy Sanchez. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Dolores Sanchez, Remie Sanchez, Joe and Sally Rivera; his uncles, Ronnie Sanchez and Remie Sanchez.
Jason will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and friends, and for the lasting impact he made on those who knew him.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105. A Rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m., with Mass to follow at 9:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Peter Vega, Gavino Vega, Luis Rios, Jeremy Sanchez, Justin Sullivan, Juliano Zambrano, Junior Zambrano, Vincent Venegas, and Remie Sanchez.
Jason will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
